Running around the world

I love to motivate others and myself. Whenever I'm travelling, whether it is business or pleasure, I always bring my running shoes and a camera. It started as a "joke" but has evolved in to a "must do" whenever I'm travelling.

I have to take a picture of myself - morning running!

Especially when the travelling is for business purposes - it  can be a struggle to run in the morning it often requires a lot of huu haaa (US Marine Corps saying). However now I need to go on a run - see the often strange and beautiful surroundings of hotels, cities and countries, instead of only seeing the inside of a hotel (they look pretty similar).

I can only recommend that you copy this wonderful habit. Even if you don't run (believe me I'm not that fast - jogging is probably a more accurate term) walk, or jog. You will see more, use your body more, and be more energy filled for a long day with meetings, exhibitions, seminars, or whatever reason your business trip has.

Start drinking beer!

In a blog, where healthy living and daily exercise is the main topic, its only natural to have a chapter about start drinking beer. Recently I saw this very amusing filmclip on the internet. There are some similarities between this view on drinking beer and my view on "smoking".

However I find it very amusing and I hope you, dear reader, will too:

If you replace the word beer in this "commercial" with water (NOT plastic bottles!) - you are on the right path!

"Are you overweight and miserable because of it.... - I'm not..."

This also illustrates the sad fact that people always have and always will believe in shortcuts and miracles. Also when it comes to loosing weight and get in shape quick!

They don't exist!
Only one thing works - determination - and the will to pursue your goals! If you are overweight, I'm pretty sure the situation didn't come overnight - and I will promise that it will not change "overnight" -
However I will promise that, if you implement and execute changes in daily routines diet and activity wise - results are inevitable!
